Isn't there something missing in that sentence?

"pupils pinning"
spinning?

"Ah, Pretty Flower, how you do see the heart and not only the soul. And how aptly you speak."
Those two sentences aren't constructed the same way, despite both beginning with "how". Is that intended?

There's plenty to read under the "Stories" tab up top, so be sure to look around. You can read some of the rough drafts for Descendants of Ancients here, and you can get volumes 1 and 2 on Smashwords.
